HOW LONG DO YOUR CANDLES LAST?

You shouldn't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at at time.  With proper care your candle should last between 30-40 hours, which is approximately 50% longer than paraffin candles! Bonus :) 

WHY IS THERE 'FROSTING' ON THE TOP OF MY CANDLE? IS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT? 

Absolutely not! Because your candle is made with natural soy wax, it has a tendency to change consistency depending on the temperature or where it might be stored. However, this is what makes soy wax unique and there is nothing wrong with your candle and will still burn well and smell amazing! 

DO YOUR CANDLES CONTAIN PARAFFIN? 

Definitely not.  Our candles are made with a natural soy wax therefore there are not paraffins in our blend meaning you can be rest assured our wax is chemical free. 

ARE YOUR CANDLE JARS RECYCLABLE? 

Absolutely! You can recycle the candle jars and the lids.  Or, why not clean out your candle jar after it's finished with hot soapy water and use it to store anything you like. Like we said, all our packaging can be recycled too! We want to do our bit for the environment and we know you do too! 

WHY IS MY CANDLE 'TUNNELLING?' 

This could be because you may not have allowed the candle to burn out right to the edge on its first burn.  Please read the candle care card carefully before using your candle to make sure you get the best out of your candle and tips on how to avoid tunnelling.  If tunnelling has occurred, we suggest lighting your candle and allowing the wax to melt out to the edges to create a 'melt pool'.  Ensure you do this each time to allow the wax to melt outwards and downwards.

WHY IS MY CANDLE JAR SO HOT?

As your candle burns and the wax starts to melt, the jar will start to warm up. That is why we recommend you should not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.  The further down your wax melts, the hotter your jar will get so please do be careful when touching the jar when the candle is lit as it will get hot. We suggest not touching it at all when the candle is burning and you keep your candle on a heat proof surface away from curtains, children, pets and drafts.
